The Victoria Terminus has been renamed as the 'Chatrapati Shivaji Terminus'. It is one of the busiest Railway stations in India and is headquarters to the Central Railways.

The Wankhede Stadium is the largest Cricket Stadium in Mumbai and is just next to the Marine Drive

It was built after disputes between the Cricket Council of India and the Mumbai Cricket Association in 1975.

The Nehru Planetarium is a domed structure next to the Mahalaxmi Race Course. It holds various shows everyday (except Mondays) between 12:30 and 6:00 PM on the 'Universe'.

Priyadarshini Park is a large park which has been reclaimed from the sea and has various health facilities

Raj Bhavan is the official residence of the Governor of Maharashtra.

It is situated in about 50 acres of land, and surrounded by sea on three sides. The Raj Bhavan complex at Malabar Hill has a mile long stretch of thick forests, a sandy beach and several lush lawns.

The Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR) was established in 1945 at the initiative of Dr. Homi Jehangir Bhabha.

It had a modest beginning at the Kenilworth site on Peddar Road, Bombay in 1945 and later moved to the Royal Yacht Club, Apollo Bunder until the buildings at the Navy Nagar Campus in South Bombay were ready in 1962.
